Franklin Pieterse – Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Fleet and Resources Management Franklin’s experience includes 18 years with Telkom with his latest position being that of Regional Executive. He served as Marketing Director to Marconi Communications SA and Corporate Affairs Director to Brandhouse. His own Strategy Consulting company, Fution, assisted Makhubu with the preparation for the freightdynamics and Container Services take over. Qualifications: MBA (Stellenbosch); National Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering (CPUT)		Mary Bomela, CA (SA) – Chief Financial Officer Mary’s financial and management experience extends over 10 years across various industries with extensive knowledge of the mining industry after working as Assistant to the Managing Director of De Beers Consolidated Mines. Other experience was gained at Amatola Water, PricewaterhouseCoopers, BP and Sanlam. Qualifications: BComm, BComm (Hons) in Financial Management (UCT); BComm (Hons) in Accounting (Natal); MBA (Gibbs)		Takalani Mukwevho – Technical Executive Takalani has been managing fleets for more than 10 years. His career includes management positions within Telkom, Debis Fleet Management, Provincial Department of Public Transport Road and Works where he at any one time directed and managed fleets to the size of 6000 vehicles. In addition, he was CEO of Phakisaworld, which runs the present tender on different national departments with over 2000 vehicles. Qualifications: Diploma in Management development Program (UPE), Diploma in Transport Management (RAU), Certificate in project Management (WBS), Certificate in finance and accounting (WBS), B-tech degree (University of Johannesburg).
Frank du Plessis – Business Unit Manager Cargo Frank has 25 years of experience within Transnet, of which 17 years have been in the road transportation and operations sector. Qualifications: BComm Degree (Stellenbosch) Specialising in Finance, Marketing and Transport Economics; Total Quality Management Certificate with distinction (Unisa).		Sizwe Kalamashe – Business Unit Manager Fuel Sizwe’s experience extends over 22 years in the road transportation industry, of which 19 yrs has been in management. His last position was held at Chevron SA where he managed all hauler activities, which includes KPI’s, SLA’s, contractual agreements and Safety performance. Qualifications: NTC 5, Diesel Mechanic, Transport Diploma (RAU), Currently studying Btech Logistics		Jacques de Koker – Business Unit Manager Containers Jacques has 15 years transport experience of which 8 years of that have been in Marketing management, project management, risk management and operations management. Qualifications: B.Econ transport economics (Stellenbosch), B.Econ Hons transport economics (Stellenbosch), B.Tech (Nelson Mandela Business School), MBA (Nelson Mandela Business School)
Quade Sing Jam – National Operations Risk Manager Quade has 12 years experience within Transnet with experience in various facets of Risk Management. He manages and implements risk compliance procedures nationally. He was responsible for the development and implementation of the Fuel Industry Requirements and the implementation of the standardised HSEQ management system. Qualifications: Diesel Mechanic; Supervisory Development Programme (M+3), Portnet Academy; certificate in Management Practice; courses in NOSA and Risk, Infinity Enterprise-wide Risk Management Solutions and SHEQ Lead Auditors Course, Rhodes University.		Dimakatso Makgato – Business Performance Manager Dimakatso has gained business financial analyst experience over a number of years in the services and petroleum industry after completing her TOPP articles. She has worked for organisations such as Vodacom, BP and SABC. Qualifications: Cost and Management Accounting Diploma at UJ, Post graduate diploma in accounting (BCTA) at UJ, Currently studying CIMA Professional stage.		Malope Mojapelo – Marketing & Business Development Executive Malope is a corporate sales and business development expert. Over the past 10 years he has gained Sales & Marketing as well as General & Senior Management experience with companies such as National Panasonic, Nashua, Multichoice, Unilever, iBurst, Global Telematics and Virgin Mobile SA. He was the founding Managing Director of iBurst Direct (Pty) Ltd. Qualifications: B.Com Marketing & Business Management degree (RAU/UJ), Advance dip. Operational Management (Damelin), Dip. Sales Management (Damelin)
Zolani May-Seane – Information Systems Executive (IT) Zolani has extensive experience in large IT systems implementations and international roll-out, particularly systems such as SAP ERP, gained during his tenure at SAP Africa, Business Connexion and IBM SA. He gained across industry experience such as, Oil and Gas, Media, Manufacturing, Financial services and Local Government. Qualifications: BSoc Sc. (UCT), He is certified in ASAP (Advanced System Applications Products) methodology, Certified MM (Materials Management) Power User Consultant. Programme in Management Excellence (Rhodes University Business School) and Programme in Project Management (University of Pretoria).		Dennis Naidoo – Procurement Manager Dennis has accumulated his experience in Supply Chain and Project Management through work experience and the Automotive, Facilities Management and Communication industries. This experience spans over 25 years, which encompasses both local and international exposure. Qualifications: Principles of Management Diploma, Applied Management Diploma, Purchasing Management National Higher Diploma, Advanced Purchasing Management Post Graduate Degree, Management Development Program National Higher Diploma, Advanced Negotiation Skills & Supply Chain Management, Project Management Certificate, MBA, Other certification in HR, SHEQR & Corporate Governance.		Fuzile Madikane – Human Resources Executive Fuzile is a Senior Human Resources Practitioner with HR generalist experience over 12 years. Fuzile was appointed Human Resources Manager in 2002 at ACSA and later as Senior Manager Organisation Development and Employee Relations and Executive Human Resources in 2005 and 2007 respectively at Total Facilities Management Company. Fuzile was appointed in December 2008 as Executive Manager: Human Resources at MLFD. Qualifications: B.Sc Sc (UCT); Honours Labour Law and Social Security (UCT)
