Who is Makhubu

Makhubu is a black owned, led and managed, private liability company duly registered in terms of South African laws.

Transnet Ltd had identified freightdynamics and Container Services as noncore to its strategy and wished to dispose of freightdynamics and Container Services in terms of the government’s BEE initiatives.

Makhubu was founded in 2006 to acquire freightdynamics and Container Services, a road freight business division of Transnet Ltd.

The leadership of Makhubu has over 60 years collective experience and skills in successful leadership and senior management positions of both small and large businesses, as well as in private and public organisations, and is geared to tackle the logistics industry.
